  • 1 large Banana Blossom thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup Carrot grated
  • 1 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Peanuts crushed
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds toasted
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Thinly slice the banana blossom and soak in water with a bit of lime juice to prevent browning.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, crushed peanuts, and toasted sesame seeds.
  3. 3. Drain the banana blossom slices and add to the mixing bowl.
  4. 4. In a small bowl, mix the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and salt. Pour over the salad and toss well to combine.
  5. 5. Serve immediately or chill for a bit before serving.
