Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 2 cups Coconut milk
- 1 cup Water
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
Add turmeric and chili powder, stir well.
Add chicken pieces, cook until browned on all sides.
Pour in coconut milk and water, bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat, cover, and let it cook for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Season with salt to taste. Serve hot with rice.
