Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Glutinous Rice
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain the rice and mix it with turmeric powder.
  4. Steam the rice in a steamer for about 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, salt, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Mix the cooked rice with the coconut milk mixture and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
