Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup jaggery cut into small pieces
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup grated coconut for coating

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and a pinch of salt.
  2. 2. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. 3. Take a small portion of the dough, flatten it, and place a piece of jaggery in the center. Seal the edges and roll into a ball.
  4. 4. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Drop the rice balls into the boiling water.
  5. 5. Once the rice balls float to the surface, remove them with a slotted spoon.
  6. 6. Roll the cooked rice balls in grated coconut to coat.
  7. 7. Serve warm.
