Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Lentils
- 1 cup Rice
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Water
Rinse the lentils and rice under cold water.
In a pot, combine the lentils, rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the water is absorbed and the rice and lentils are tender.
Stir in the butter until melted and well combined.
Serve hot.
