Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Eel, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the curry powder and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the eel pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Serve hot.
