Fermented Fish Salad Recipe (Nga baung thoke)

- 200 g Fermented fish chopped
- 1 cup Cabbage shredded
- 1 cup Carrot julienned
- 1 cup Cucumber sliced
- 2 tablespoon Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon Peanut oil
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds toasted
- 1 cup Fresh herbs such as cilantro, mint, and basil
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fermented fish, cabbage, carrot, and cucumber.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, fish sauce, peanut oil, garlic, and chili flakes.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
4. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and fresh herbs before serving.
