  • 2 cups Rice preferably jasmine
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil vegetable or canola

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for another 10 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the oil before serving.
