  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
  6. Cut the dough into strips.
  7. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry the dough strips until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  9. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
