Ginger Salad Recipe (Gyin thoke)
A refreshing Burmese salad with pickled ginger, nuts, and a tangy dressing.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Pickled ginger thinly sliced
- ½ cup Roasted peanuts crushed
- ½ cup Sesame seeds toasted
- 1 cup Cabbage shredded
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Chili flakes
In a mixing bowl, combine the pickled ginger, roasted peanuts, sesame seeds, and shredded cabbage.
In a small bowl, mix the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and chili flakes until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
Serve immediately.
