Ingredients

  • 300 g Lotus Root peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds toasted
  • 1 stalk Green Onion chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and thinly slice the lotus root.
  2. 2. Blanch the lotus root slices in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and cool.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar.
  4. 4. Add the cooled lotus root slices to the bowl and toss to coat.
  5. 5. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving.
