Instructions
1. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
