Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Mutton cut into chunks
  • 3 medium Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 medium Onions finely chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 cups Water
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. 3. Add mutton pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. 4. Stir in curry powder and turmeric powder. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add potatoes and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  6. 6. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until mutton and potatoes are tender.
  7. 7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
