Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Okra washed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add chopped okra and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
