Ingredients

  • 2 cups Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 2 cups Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt.
  2. 2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until you get a smooth batter.
  3. 3. Add the thinly sliced onions to the batter and mix well to coat them evenly.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Drop spoonfuls of the onion batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. 6. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. 7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
