Main Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 4 pandan leaves, tied into a knot
- ½ teaspoon salt
Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a pot, combine the rice, water, coconut milk, pandan leaves, and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork and remove the pandan leaves before serving.
