Peanut Rice (Myay Pae Htamin) Recipe
A simple and delicious Burmese rice dish with peanuts.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice rinsed
- 1 cup Peanuts roasted
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 2 cups Water
1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add turmeric and chili powder, stir well.
4. Add rinsed rice and stir to coat with the spices.
5. Pour in water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
7. Stir in roasted peanuts and fluff the rice with a fork.
8. Serve hot.
