Instructions
1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
2. Add pork ribs and blanch for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add a bit of oil and sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
4. Add the blanched pork ribs back into the pot.
5. Pour in water, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 1.5 hours or until the ribs are tender.
7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
