Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice rinsed
  • 200 grams Pork thinly sliced
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger sliced
  • 2 stalks Green Onions chopped
  • 1 handful Cilantro chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. 3. Add the pork, garlic, ginger, and salt to the pot. Stir occasionally.
  4. 4. Cook for about 30-40 minutes until the rice is broken down and the porridge is thickened.
  5. 5. Stir in the fish sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and cilantro.
