Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Prawns cleaned and deveined
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoon Curry Powder
  • 1 can Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 handful Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in curry powder and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour in coconut milk, bring to a simmer.
  7. Add prawns, cook until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
