Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 500 grams Meat (chicken, beef, or lamb)
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Yogurt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the meat and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. 5. Stir in curry powder, salt, and tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer until the meat is tender.
  7. 7. In a serving dish, layer the cooked rice and meat curry. Top with yogurt and serve hot.
