Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice
- 500 grams Meat (chicken, beef, or lamb)
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons Curry powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Yogurt
1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Add the meat and cook until browned on all sides.
5. Stir in curry powder, salt, and tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes.
6. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer until the meat is tender.
7. In a serving dish, layer the cooked rice and meat curry. Top with yogurt and serve hot.
