  • ½ cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the sago pearls under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the sago pearls and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes, or until the sago pearls become translucent.
  4. 4. Drain the sago pearls and rinse under cold water to remove excess starch.
  5. 5. In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. 6. Add the cooked sago pearls to the coconut milk mixture and stir well.
  7. 7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
