Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup red bean paste sweetened
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour and water to form a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each ball.
  3. Place a small amount of red bean paste in the center of each flattened dough and wrap the dough around the filling to form a ball.
  4. Roll each ball in sesame seeds until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the sesame balls until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
