Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 cup Tamarind juice
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the pot over medium heat and add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add the pork cubes to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Stir in the turmeric powder and chili powder, and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Pour in the tamarind juice, fish sauce, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot with rice.
