Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork ribs cut into pieces
  • 1 lb Taro root peeled and cut into chunks
  • 8 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Salt to taste
  • 2 pieces Green onions chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large pot, add the water, blanched pork ribs, ginger, and bring to a boil.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. 4. Add the taro chunks and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the taro is tender.
  5. 5. Season with salt to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
